A new staff story

We hired a new staf and she came last Monday to report duty. Start kerja la. After my father brief her about her job as well as the company's core business etc, he assigned me to be the mentor to this young girl. She's young, 24. So I guide her briefly and told her what she should do for these couple of days. And if there's anything she needs or don't understand, come straight to me and ask. Simple right?

Ok, it is understandable its her first week, so being shy and all is acceptable-for a while. But she is not suppose to be shy and segan and malu² kucing because she is doing sales. Orang sales mana boleh malu² kan?

Came Wednesday, my father asked me how she's doing and I simply said I don't think she can do sales or any other work. Why? Well for that three days she just tenung computer-on a blank screen! I have no idea what she was doing actually. And my father called her in, asked her this and that, and lecture her a bit. And finally he assigned her to do something for Thursday.

Oh...guess what she did when she came out from his room?

Jalan ala² hentak kaki gaya orang merajuk dengan mulut cebik² cakap only God knows what! As though macam kena marah dengan bapak dia. At that point of time I dah rasa geram sangat but I let it go to give her another chance. So let's see how it goes this week as I didn't see her after that incident. If its going from bad to worse, I can only advice her to resign aje. No point hanging on someone who is a liability to the company kan? The true colors prevail. Time interview lain, bila datang kerja lain.
